Partner, LaToya Fields, on Ft. Caroline’s AVID Women’s History Month Panel

Our Partner, LaToya Fields, was invited by Junior Achievement of North FL to sit on a women-led panel for Women’s History Month/Career Speaker Event at Ft. Caroline Middle School for their AVID program. The panel included some amazing professionals right here in our own city. Attorney Fields was joined by a JSO Sergeant, JEA HR, and eComms Surveillance with The Macquarie Group. The panel was given an opportunity to share their triumphs, challenges, and the paths they’ve paved to get to where they are today. Our job is to inspire the youth to do what is needed to be successful despite the obstacles they may face. “We generate fears while we sit. We overcome them by action.” – Dr. Henry Link

Fields Law Took a Trip Back to Their Old High School

May 25, 2023

We took a trip back to our old stomping grounds for First Coast High School’s Career Day. (Partners, Louis and LaToya, both graduated from First Coast which made this event even more special.) It was such a pleasure to come back and connect with the students. The event included the school band along with a live DJ. We also ran into some of our old teachers and coaches. To be able to tell the students that we graduated from this very school and went on to accomplish our goals and dreams was inspiring on both sides. It was great to hear of all of the different career paths that students were interested in. We even met some students that were very interested in becoming lawyers in the future. Click the video below to see a short clip of the event.

The partners at Fields Law met some amazing students at Westside High School during their College & Career Fair. The students that we spoke to had a ton of questions about the legal field and life as an attorney. Some students showed a new interest in the legal field as they have been undecided on their career paths before this day. It felt great to provide insight and advice to as many students as possible.
